Founder

Natalie J. Kubik, CPANatalie manages a vast client portfolio at her tax consulting practice in Houston, Texas. She draws on more than fifteen years of experience in small business accounting. Her practice specializes in tax return preparation, tax planning and education for individuals and small businesses. She serves a broad client base with a focus on service industries, such as consultants, attorneys and physicians. Her work also supports real estate, construction and wholesale distribution industries.

Earlier in her career, Natalie worked as an audit manager at UHY Advisors. She has also served as a senior associate for Middleton, Burns & Davis. Natalie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
 
Natalie holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She completed both degrees as part of the Professional Program in Accounting, Financial Management, and Information Systems, Group VIII at Texas A&M University.
 
Natalie is a Houston native and a board member for P.M. Pals, a program that serves families of children with special needs. Natalie is an expert in the adoption tax credit and supports the DePelchin Children’s Center by teaching an annual class for those who are in the adoption process.

Jody Dodd McDaniel, CPA

Associate

 
Jody has more than seventeen years of experience in a broad range of income tax compliance issues on federal and state levels. Her past tax experience includes positions at Deloitte & Touche, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Thomson Reuters.
 
Jody joined Natalie J. Kubik, CPA in 2013 to help support its growing number of small business and individual income tax clients. She holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and Oklahoma. Jody is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
 
Jody is a member of the Junior League of Houston and volunteers with Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. She is also an active member of her church and children’s school Parent-Teacher Organization.

Carmen Fraser Youngsteadt

Associate

Carmen is a tax professional with more than ten years of experience in international and domestic taxation. Her career has included positions at Arthur Andersen, Deloitte & Touche, Enron and LyondellBasell.

Carmen started with Natalie J. Kubik, CPA in 2015 as NJKCPA had a growing number of small business and individual income tax clients. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accounting. She completed both degrees as part of the Professional Program in Accounting, Financial Management & Information Systems, Group VIII at Texas A&M University.

Carmen was born and raised in Houston, where she has started her own family. She has two daughters and one son. She was a founding member of her eldest daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and is an active member in her children’s schools Parent-Teacher Associations.
